TOURNAMENT The Optimist Clubs of London junior golf tournament name has been changed in memory of Albert Hill who was chairman of Optimist Junior Golf for more than 31 years. There will be a change in the format of the tournament as follows: Boys ages 10 - 11 & Boys ages 12 - 13 play 18 holes on June 26 th 2008. Girls' ages 10 - 14 & Girls ages 15 - 18 play 18 holes on June 26 th 2008. All players receive a meal after their round. Registration fee is $45. Boys ages 14 - 15 and boys ages 16 – 18 will play two days, June 26 th and 27 th , 2008. First day of competition (26 th ) will determine the qualifying scores to advance to the Midwestern Ontario District Junior Golf Championship to be held at St.Marys Golf and Country Club on July 8, 2008. The second day of competition (27 th ) will be played as a two day total score to de etermine the overall winner for the London Championship. All players will receive a meal on both days and prizes. Registration fee is $90. NEW OPTIMIST END OF SEASON TOURNAMENT AUGUST 25TH, 2008 The Top finishing Junior will qualify for the 2009 Central Ontario Optimist District Championship Tournament "Qualifying junior to advce to the Canadian Optimist Juior Golf National Championships, Ingersoll, ON, 2009 All Nigara Area re junors will be eligble to recive 4 development clinics, Prior to the Tournament, Presented by Mary Kraus Teaching and Head Professional Niagara Fals Golf Club Cost: $65.00 Regisraton Cloes August 14h, 2008
MIDWESTERN ONTARIO DISTRICT LOCAL QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS 2008 NOTE: Thirty percent of participating juniors in each of the following tournaments, with qualifying scores advance to the Midwestern Ontario District tournament at St. Marys G & CC, Boys ages 10 to 13 and girls ages 10 to 18 play 18 holes on June 26th 2008 Boys in the age group 14-15 and boys 16-18 will play two days, June 26th & June 27th 2008 (total score) This tournament is open to boys and girls ages 10 to 18 in
